This is my contribution to the SG50 cake collaboration, “Flourish”

The first thing that comes to mind about Singapore is the multicultural flourishing economy and the beautiful flora and fauna that decks the whole island. This cake draws inspiration from these facts about Singapore. The fiery Chinese dragon, the graceful Indian classical dancer and the Malay dancer show the joyous integration of different cultures that come together only in Singapore. The shimmering skyline represents the vibrant economy that different cultures have come together as One People to build in 50 years of Singapore’s history. The flowers that ensconce the Merlion shows the flourishing resplendent nation that is proudly Singapore today on its 50th birthday!
