I made this 2-layer 8-inch round cake for a young ladies birthday who wanted neon colors. they left it up to me how I designed it. I used liquid airbrush and gel colors to achieve this. I start with light colors and go to darker blending one at a time with finger and small and large angled spatula. I smoothed over top and sides several times, and if it blended too much or colors ran together to not tell definition of shades, I just scraped a little off the those areas and added more color I places that needed it, them smoothed with a small angled spatula. Writing in #4 white BC. Base boarder in yellow #4 zig-zag boarder.
