I don’t get asked to do many mens cakes but I really enjoyed making this fishing basket cake. It took me a while to work out how to get the paint effect I wanted on it. I did think I would airbrush it but I wanted a more rough texture, so I painted colour on and dabbed it off and TA DA. Thankfully it came out exactly as I envisaged. It is the first time I have done a weaving effect and that was much easier than I though. Hope you like :) x
