Anaïs – Rose was baptised yesterday it was a beautiful service and celebrations that followed were so full of love and laughter. She wore a gown that 15 years ago her big sister Yasmine wore a sister she never met but I’m sure watches her from heaven.
I used the gown as my inspiration for Anaïs cake each teir depicts an element of the details embroidered on the gown. Ive worked many hours throughout last week cuting and moulding decorations then placing them on to finish with luster. Each tiny sugar pearl was placed with a mothers love. I really do believe Yasmine sat beside me during my time in the kitchen as not once did I get stressed.
I look at this cake and feel so very proud a true labour of love it was an absolute joy to make.
