Here’s the latest cake that I designed for a client of mine. She wanted me to design a birthday cake for her Sister-in-law and wanted it to be the focal point of the event. Below is the sketch that I drew and the cake that I made. The shoe was made to replicate a Vince Camuto Shoe that she saw in a magazine and she wanted it made in blush pink. Satin Ice Gumpaste was used to make the shoe and the oversize Anemone flower and the rhinestones were handmade and placed individually on the shoe :-) Since my client wanted a big cake I made a 12” and 14” tier cake and after all the decorations were put together it truly became the focal point of the event as she hoped for.
