For a little girl called Gracie “Gracie Gru”
the challenge for this cake was somehow to incorporate the character Gru from despicable me .it had to be pink and girly too . I saw a picture of the character with crossed arms and thought , that’s it ! He can be holding the baby xx

As he is top heavy with thin legs this wAs also a challenge !
He is made with gum paste with a little extra cmc . I used long wooden BBQ skewers up through his legs and right through the cake ( with a straw used as a posy pick)

The Cake is finished with cake lace and trimmed with ribbon x
