Inspired by the White picket fences of The Hamptons.

This beach themed wedding cake was my entry to Machester CI earlier this year, for which I was awarded gold.

The idea was to show the differnet elements of the beach sand waves, shells and picket fence. I also wanted to attempt to make customer flowers out of shells.

I love the wave ruffles made out of Massa Ticcino sugarpaste and the golden sand tier. The shells are all made of stain ice Gumpaste. I had the stand custom made. It is just darling.
