It was very hard emotionally to make this cake. For ‘Miss Ellie’, a beautiful angel who sadly passed away 8 months ago. Ellie would have been 9 today. Her wonderful brave Mum wants to continue to celebrate her birthday each year. Butterflies hold a special place in her heart in remembering Ellie so she just asked for those and left the rest of the design up to me. All butterflies are hand painted. I wanted to make this one very special.
