My husband asked me to make groot from Guardians of the galaxy for his birthday
so I did and he was very happy when he saw the finished cake.
Take 1
I struggled with the neck part, beheaded it a couple of times and still could not get the neck to look right
I think the face is too short, it should be longer, the shoulders are not wide enough and the neck looks wrong from the front, the mouth is slanted downwards to much
I would love any input you think could help me improve Groot
Awesome!

You make amazing cakes! I have never heard of Groot (it means “big” in Dutch and must be said with a gggggggggggggggggggg, for most foreigners a real challenge), but now I will look it up! I suppose my children have heard of him. How did you get this glanze in his eyes?
Wow, this looks absolutely fantastic
You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits
Thanks for the lovely words,
I used the DInky Doodle clear glaze shell and shine spray over the top of black painted eye , its really good.
So cool! Looks great! Love it!

Hahahahaha you reminded me of myself with that “Take 1”. As once someone said to me: You are the one who notice all those “mistakes”! Extraordinary work!
