They say “Philip, you are the luckiest man in the world.. You get to eat lovely cakes/desserts all the time as your wife bakes.” Whoever has said this has got a mouthful from my hubby :) He tells them “Hello, my wife doesn’t bake for ME. Whatever she bakes are for sale and I am not allowed to touch it. Trust me, I have never tasted her cakes and she doesn’t bake for ME.” Oops!! I will be in the middle of these conversations all the time and would simply smile.

Sometimes, when you have the greatest strength and support with you, you overlook few things. When I thought of it, it’s true. Being my better half he is always a part of my cake projects but has never tasted my buttercream cakes. Felt a little bad because if my baking has improved over the last one and a half year, it’s all because of HUBBY’S support and motivation. (WARNING – Hubby forced to write this paragraph :) )

So, I decided to bake a dozen cupcakes just for him and here it is.

Cupcake Flavours – 1.Rum infused Red Velvet Cupcake
