RAWRR T-Rex Cake

I had the pleasure of making Mr. T-Rex this past weekend for a BIG fan of dinosaurs. I decided to go with a big head, small body look which goes perfect with a T-Rex.

T-Rex is all covered with homemade modeling chocolate head to foot :) Dusted him with cocoa powder to give him some shadows. I used some dark cocoa powder, light cocoa powder and red cocoa powder for the effect.

The occasion was a 30th birthday dinner being celebrated after the new Jurassic Park.

Cake: Amaretto Cake with Chocolate Buttercream Filling covered in ganache.

Gluten free as always :)
