I made this cake a couple of weeks ago for a young lady who was graduating from our local high school and heading of to college. The mum wanted to incorporate the 2 schools some how so I came up with this idea of her wearing her converse sneakers and stepping for the very first time onto her new campus grounds. I changed the round converse logo to the high school logo and then just used an edible image for the school mascot name which they also wanted on the cake. I wanted the board to look like pavement with the college logo like you might see in front of some campus’. This cake was so much harder than I thought it would be just because I wanted them to look real yet I needed a certain amount of cake and to stay under a very low budget.
