Yay!! Here finally is my contribution to the first Sugar Sharing Socialites “SSS Worldwide Edible Artists Collaborative Event!”. I chose Pinterest as my social media platform to represent, as I find myself spending way too much time on it, happily pinning away, only to realize hours have passed.

As I am from sunny California, where often in the summertime we see hot air balloons on the horizon (there are even races!), I chose to display the Pinterest symbol on such a balloon, and have the balloon soaring over a green meadow. To further represent California, I put some golden poppies, the state flower, beneath the balloon, and a cute bear (grizzly bear being the state animal) dangling from the balloon rope. In the second picture, I thought it would be fun to add a famous scene from beautiful Yosemite as the background. I hope you like it!

Only the rolling hills are made of cake. the rest of the piece is modeling chocolate and fondant. Just a simple bit of fun :)
