Two layer 8-inch round almond cake. The grandmother of the baby to be born, called me in a hurry to get a cake for her daughter who was coming into town, expecting her third baby. She said I did her daughters wedding cake and she loved it so much, that she would surprise her, if I could fit one in. Of course I had to fit this one in! Almond cake was her flavor of choice, as it was inth e wedding cake I did for her several years ago~
