Gardens of the World is a “Chelsea Flower Show” Inspired International cake collaboration featuring 26 outstanding, award winning and celebrated cake artists from all over the world. Our common theme was “Gardens of the World”. We have created sugar art celebrating the beauty of English, French, Italian, Japanese and Spanish Gardens.

I was over the moon when I was asked to participate in the Gardens of the World Collaboration!! Giardino Italiano di Rose was inspired by the sculptures in Italian palaces and their elegant gardens which pay a lot of attention to structures, they are also symmetrical and ever so romantic. I did do considerable research into traditional Renaissance Gardens and when I saw all the amazing variations there were and the little time I had…. I was in trouble!!! I could not make my mind up and a week away from the grand revelation I had practically nothing!!! So, I set to work solidly, many hours later and my right arm in a sling with “golfing elbow” this is the result. I hope you like it!
