This was a cake I created for Mother’s Day this year. I slightly frilled the edges of fondant discs and then folded each one twice to create the ruffle effect. I made the cake for the mothers at my church and so I wanted the children to write some messages directly onto the cake (second pic) but it didn’t quite work out well since the cake was sweating a lot. I liked how it turned out nonetheless. Hope you like it.
