This cake I made for a friend’s little boy who was turning four and wanted to have a cake themed after Hookfang from the How to Train Your Dragon movie.

I’m not very skilled at making cakes that are 3D, but this was for a friend so I relented. :)

The face gave me fits because the rice krispies weren’t quite sticky enough and I made his lower jaw too heavy so the face started to sag and crack. I had to completely redo his face and neck and I"m glad I did because it came out soooo much better.

The cake was marble with vanilla buttercream frosting. I airbrushed his body with a mixture of reds and yellows.
