More fun with this Football cake for my cousin’s daughter’s 7 year old son, who had a football party. He is mad about football and is already a promising player. His favourite team is Manchester United, hence the handpainted badge. I did a mini him in his school footie gear in sugarpaste and the football shoes are his as well, all sugar. I was delighted he recognised them all. the base caked is rainbow marble cake. the football is chocolate with each pentagon and hexagon individually cut out and measured and placed onto gananched ball one at a time.
