I was so flattered to get to be in the Myths & Fantasies Collaboration that revealed yesterday. After 9 months of planning the group finally is able to share with everyone. My piece was modeled after an artists work , Victor Nizovtsev, that struck me and I couldn’t get it out of my head! My swan’s body is cake covered in modeling chocolate with all my little characters made from 50/50 modeling choc and fondant. I hand painted the back board and base. The water effect is gelatin.

Every now and then you see a cake that takes your breath away. And this one truly has. I don’t know the story, but it looks like the pictures I remember from the books Mum used to read with me at bed time……..happy days. Thank you so much for giving me those memories back xx

Pure magic, love that swan and the silent reflection and sense of serenity. Your modelled characters are too gorgeous. This is all such a wonderful story. Pinned to Sculpted Cakes on https://www.pinterest.com/CalliciousC/
You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits
This is such an amazing story-telling piece. I am blown away by the sheer number of specific details and how they all work together. Your swan is also divine!
