My dad was 80 yesterday and I did this from start to finish in four hours, ten minutes to spare before the party. I only like making “girly” cakes, lucky my dad is in touch with his feminine side 😁 and enjoyed his love of birds translated into a pretty style cake. Was stressful working to such a deadline, especially after being poorly, but felt great to be back in the game.
