A long time ago in 2014…….in a land called Facebook, 20 cake allies collaborated with the idea of becoming one with the Force, bringing together creations that brought forth an unbalance in the cake galaxy. To celebrate the 38th anniversary and the release of Episode VII, these Jedi decorators present to you Star Wars Cakes – The fondant Awakens- MAY the 4th be with you.

This is my Gamorrean Guard bust, meticulously hand-sculpted from all cake, covered in fondant and modeling chocolate. I used Cake Frame for the basic structure. By far my most difficult piece to date, and I couldn’t be more amazed by how it turned out!!! I hope love it as much as I did!! There will be many more pictures and videos to follow, some showing the progress of the piece.
