Medusa's head

I entered this cake in the 2014 cake international comp in Birmingham
I learnt a lot from the judge who graded the cake and went home determined to improve my skill sets

Thanks, its not your normal cake and was very much figure it out on the go.
Part of the cake came away on the way up to the comp so I spent the balance of the night repairing it
The face was a first for me using modelling chocolate with fondant over it.
its really amazing seeing your cake through a judges eyes

Thanks for your lovely compliments,
I almost cried when I saw the damage from the drive up to Birmingham. I sat up fixing the cake in the hotel room until it was time to take the cake to the competition

I remember seeing this at the show it was fab. I didn’t enter because the thought of getting it there scared me so well done!
