My eldest Uncle Dr. Jose Elengical is a big fan of Cake Canvas. His daughters Sapna and Sithara wanted to give him a pleasant surprise for his birthday. They wanted a caricature cake of their loving parents to be portrayed in fondant as sweet as them.

A bunch of us nephews, nieces and aunts carried the bow ribboned box to his home on the day. At first he thought he was getting a puppy for his birthday, possibly thinking of what a nuisance it is going to be in his well kept home.

The absolute look of unbridled joy on the faces of both these sweethearts was the reward both Sapna and Sithara deserved. As it was mine as a cake maker and a niece who delivers home happiness in a box.
