My youngest son turned 6 earlier this week and this was his birthday cake. Ludo is one of his favourite broad games and makes a daily appearance in our house. He asked for chocolate cake with orange buttercream. The 6 inch square cake was covered with caramel coloured fondant. The 4 home circles; finish circle; stepping circles and the Ludo pieces were all made from home made modelling chocolate (my first attempt at home made modelling chocolate as well).
