I followed the super awesome, super easy Craftsy class “little pink dress cake”. I came up with the idea to do a cocktail dress for her mum’s birthday and was so happy to find this class soon after. It practically made the cake for me! Lol

The only problem I had was the rkt bust which kept breaking in half so I carved this one out of styro really quickly but I it wouldn’t take much more to do it in cake I think…

Actually the real problem I had was figuring out how to make this cake in burnt orange and lime green – her mum’s favorite color combo(!). The black tied it all together nicely in the end I think (thought I would have gagged! Lol).

Anyways, this customer NEVER came for her cake! And so I was not paid ( up till last month I would let customers COD. Learned my lesson but it wasn’t all bitter – this cake was fun to do! :)
