When I was asked to make this 18th Birthday cake my first thought was what a random theme for an 18 year old male. However the party was being held at Circo in Liverpool, a circus themed restaurant where all the staff are dressed as circus acts and trapeze artists whiz past your head as you eat, so it then made sense. The whole theme was set on a 20inch round cake board and took a few days of crafting all the figures to get it to completion. I really loved doing this cake though and everyone loved my interpretation
