This weekend I went to the National Capital Area Cake Show in Virginia. This was one of the pieces I entered. I hand painted Monet’s waterlillies with gel colors on sugar cookies coated in royal icing. The puzzle box was created with fondant mixed with tylose. I used edible images for the box top.

These cookies won first place in the Advanced Division Cookie Category.
