This is a cake I’ve just finished!! A few firsts for me – my first tent!! My first time using modelling chocolate to sculpt faces. This was a surprise cake for one of my best and loveliest customers – she’s a big Carry On Camping fan. I didn’t really have the time to make this cake because of preparations for a wedding cake but couldn’t say no!! So I thought if I just did three characters looking out of the tent then it would be quick – I was so wrong!! Each of these faces took me about 3 hours to make freehand – OMG!! – but I so wanted them to resemble the characters. Unfortunately there is not a lot of other detail on the cake because I completely ran out of time!! I hope you like it :-D xx
