A different spin on the traditional naked cake, putting this in the semi naked cake category clothed in rich whipped belgian chocolate ganache. The sponge is vanilla creme with raspberry and cream cheese filling. The lucky birthday girl loves roses so I added fresh roses, cute little birdy, paper butterflies I made and a few fondant blossoms to dress it up a bit, topped off by my handmade giant 80 in case everyone forgot what she was celebrating – he he he.
