I so struggle with car cakes. The navy is so tricky to work with, so if you are a car cake diva, I salute you!

This was for a friends partner and he (thankfully) liked it so much he sent it into to VW bus magazine, and they published it! Woo hoo!

The cake drum is 14" so it is not a huge cake. It was carved from an 18″ × 12″ sponge, then ganached before being iced.
