My son is the high school swim coach, and he asked me if I could make something for their end of season banquet. I want to thank Monica of Sweets by Monica for giving me permission to use her lovely cake as my inspiration. I also made 150 cupcakes of assorted flavors with edible image toppers of the team logo. My lovely daughter in law set it all up, and got a picture of the display at the event. Thank you all for looking!

Thank you so much DJ!! Yes, they kept me pretty busy! My son said that there were only 4 cupcakes leftover, so I guess I made just enough cake and cupcakes!

Really nice cake, and love the top as well as the swimmers on the bottom side tier!!! Cool cupcake stand and red and white trim around base of cake.

Thank you Nancy! I cut tiny fondant circles in half and lined them up to make the red and white lane lines on the bottom tier.
