Yes I know – I’ve probably been living under some sort of rock as I had never heard of Game of Thrones until I was asked to make this cake! So, after searching for images, I decided to go with dragons eggs and a crown on a black cake. The eggs are made out of rice crispie treats covered in fondant triangles, airbrushed with iridescent gold and then brushed with a little black rainbow dust. And I made the crown with a mix of florist paste and fondant and used a snowflake cookie cutter ….customer was delighted with it and also has offered to let me borrow her Game of Thrones DVD’s! :)
