This was for Twin girls obviously still kids at heart as they were 21. I created the scale effect with the help of a snake skin template meant for face painting using royal icing and then airbrushing over. This is only my second carved animal cake and I was quite pleased with him although I know he is not perfect as his face is a little too deep and he looks like he has had too many pies and the too smaller wings couldn’t possibly keep him up. ;)
