I love it when I have complete freedom designing a cake. That’s when I can create things like this – a gravity defying cake on top of a sugar stand, enclosed with a frame finished with edible gold. I enjoyed every single moment of making it – from the painting of the sugar “floor” till putting the hand made magnolia on top. But what I loved most was the moment The Birthday Lady saw it – the look in her eyes was absolutely priceless!!!
