I cut my hand whilst making this, thank God I had a pot of the stuff to use as a basis for the cake.
The cake itself is made up of two 8" cakes. One is a chocolate biscuit cake and the other a carrot cake.
Everything is edible and I really did enjoy making it.

It’s a bugger alright. Bought new blades and … forgot they were new?! Ouch.
