This was made for a recent wedding exhibition, and is based on a cake I made for a lovely bride last summer. The birdcage is an exact ‘copy’ of the birdcages the bride had chosen as her table centrepieces. This version also gave me the opportunity to use my newest and current favourite lace mat (Claire Bowman’s ‘Eternity’).
