Give me lace, roses, pink & cream with a vintage style – Certainly.. will this do?

The lower tier has a brocade effect created by overlaying flowers and swirls in the same dusky pink colour, the flowers were textured with a piece of lace netting and brushed with antique silk luster.

The top tier has a pearlised lace collar dressed with fondant pearls and a brooch. A dusky pink sugar rose, cream magnolia, and little white filler flowers top the cake with a golden 75 to celebrate a special birthday.

The golden ribbon and pearls bring the design together along with the small bud rose and a few rose petals on the base to finish.

This is the first vintage cake I was asked to make and was enjoyable to make.
