The Alpini are an elite mountain warfare military corps of the Italian Army. They are the oldest active mountain infantry in the world. Their original mission was to protect Italy’s northern mountain border with France and Austria. Nowadays there are many things influenced by this, including music. The family wanted to commemorate grandma’s 80th birthday with something special and asked me to create something that resembled the Alpini as she listens to Alpini songs all day long, 24/7. They told me she was incredibly happy :)
