And recently I was asked by the Editor of the Magazine if I could create a cake for Mother’s Day using the Little Venice cake company heart cutter set.
So this is what I created using all the heart sized cutters. The flower was made with the hearts upside down so the point created the petal, and the bee was even made from the smallest heart using one half of the heart curve as the wing and the other as the body.
It was also fantastic getting the cake photographed professionally by their in-house photographic team.
I had great fun making this, and I hope Mich will be pleased with it if she gets to see it too.
