Note: My first sculpted face cake!!!!

This is my 2015 That takes the cake Austin TX cake submission. I did not place but I felt she deserved to be shared anyways.. I like her. I enter competitions to learn new mediums with cake art.. with She-rah I learned how to:

Make ganache,
sculpt faces
sculpt faces from cake
make isomalt
and I learned after I was judged how to shade and make more realistic features..

This cake isn’t too shabby seeing as I entered the competition on sunday.. decided the cake I was doing on Monday and started baking and buying Tuesday and weds with sculpting Thursday and Friday then delivering this on Saturday.. not too shabby at all. :) Though I do wish her hair was poofier.. but I know what I should have done there.
