I loved making this cake. The brief that I had from my client was to create a ‘girly’ cake with freshness of spring….

This cake turned out to be so different from what I had planned because at the last minute one of the peonies in lilac colour broke!!! Thank heveans for a spare peony that I had from before that I could use. Phew!!! Anyways I had to quickly make more filler flowers in lilac to contrast with the two pink peonies….
I was quite happy with the outcome…. And in the end told my self- it was meant to be!!
