Sometimes to love in a different way makes sink in the deepest to the ones that cannot avoid to follow the singing mermales. But the risk of dying drowned by an oppressive context is worth if its to find the real love. This way, as told in the fairytales, a true love’s kiss can make us breathe again and lift us where we belong, or even feel like a duck to water. This is what Alfredo Roagui’s illustration was meant to me, and that’s why I used it as a inspiration for my cake.In many countries to be homosexual is still being punished with jail or even with the death. I still hope that some day the love wins to the fear and we all could live happy for ever after.

En ocasiones, tener un modo diferente de amar hace naufragar y hundirse en lo más profundo a los que no podemos evitar seguir los cantos de sirena. Pero el riesgo de morir ahogados por un contexto opresor merece la pena en pos de encontrar el verdadero amor.
De esta forma, como en los cuentos, un beso de amor verdadero nos puede hacer respirar de nuevo y traernos de nuevo a la superficie, o incluso hacernos sentir como pez dentro del agua.
Esto es lo que me transmitió la ilustración de Alfredo Roagui en la que me inspiré para crear esta tarta decorada con chocolate de modelar y fondant.
En muchos paises ser homosexual aún sigue penado con privación de libertad o incluso con la muerte. Yo aún espero que algún día el amor venza al miedo y todos podamos vivir felices para siempre.
