Since 14th February 271AD the world celebrates the day of love each yr, in memory of St.Valentine. This year, 14 top cake artists, the best of the best from India’s Cake Artists Network ICAN, come together for the first time ever to recreate the magic of love! LOVE IS IN THE AIR, a first ever collaboration in India. One theme, one medium but such varied expressions! Wait no more, come fall in love..

“Love You Forever” – My creation for this wonderful collaboration on V day theme.
I was longing to try a rustic design on cake, so grabbing this opportunity, I decided to make this 2 tier rustic love themed cake.
Top tier, a barrel cake with rustic wooden hand-made trunk design and love birds inside a heart made with branches, all again in rustic color panel.
For base tier, I decided to make it in chalk-board effect, for which again I was waiting for the right opportunity :)
Finally decorated the cake with my favorite sugar moth orchids, grass, twines, foliage and winter berries. Hope you all like it as much as I do! :)
