This is a double barrel square cake I created for my 29th Birthday this year. The cake features a hand painted Vogue cover inspired model and a hand painted over sized wafer paper bow. The medium used to paint the model were petal dust, vodka, and non toxic soft pastels. The wafer paper bow was painted using both a brush technique and a sponging technique to add some interest. The colors were created by mixing petal dust with coconut oil.
