I have made this alternative country wedding cake as a part of my future collection for my business. I wanted to create something different to the traditional but in keeping with current trends. I also wanted it to be transferrable to other celebrations, i.e. mothers day, birthdays.

I hand painted the grasses using 3 different shades, I used blossoms with hand painted centers and created butterflies using photos of english butterflies as a reference. I hoped to make the butterflies in a realistic matter and I was really pleased with the finished outcome.
