Sharing the Winter’s Love Wedding Cake. Marsala is Pantone’s color of the year, so I wanted to bring a little bit of it into this cake but keep the rest monochromatic. The wired twigs are painted with Marsala coloring and sugared to give them an icy, wintry feel. Textured fondant and petal ruffles tipped in gold and finished with a fantasy sugar flower also tipped in gold. Very romantic with a modern twist – perfect for winter!
