There are so many avenger cakes in the social media.. I didn’t want to duplicate those cakes because as an artist that’s just too easy. So I did some digging around and found some great portraits on the web that I used for inspiration for this cake. We have Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, thors chest ( which as a lady is the only part that matters when thor is involved) and Spider man on the top of the cake. I thought placing a silhouette city skyline would help with this cake and so I also took to the web to find those. Each portrait was outlined in the desired color of fondant, then freehand painted. This is my first time I’ve painted on a cake. while they’re simple strokes of paint I’m very weary to use paint in my cakes because I’ve never been good with color ( or coloring in the lines). This may be my favorite cake for this weekend.
