Made this for a 13 year old fan of the manga and anime series – Black Butler.

The request was for a cake designed as a chessboard, with 2 characters (ebastian Michaelis, the demonic butler & the thirteen-year-old Earl Ciel Phantomhive), a few chess pieces & blue roses on each of the four sides.

Having never heard of the Black Butler series, it took a bit of background research…I absolutely enjoyed the challenge & loved how it turned out. Most importantly the birthday girl loved it!!
