For as long as I’ve been decorating cakes Ive always done at least one Christmas cake a year with a polar bear and penguin theme. I call my polar bear Boris and my penguin Pete. Don’t ask me why, they just look like Boris and Pete to me. This year they were part of a competition prize as a thank you to all the lovely people who have supported me in what was a difficult year and I hope the lucky winner will enjoy it on Christmas Day as much as I enjoyed making it.
