This is my first tiered wedding cake. It was a bit of challenge, especially having to paint the lilies and ivy on the cake. The gumpaste lilies, leaves and butterflies where also handpainted to match in with the effect on the cake. The bride has a large tattoo with a lily ivy design hence the reason for the design of the cake. Hopefully my next wedding cake will be a little more straightforward! xx
